S600MC is a high-yield steel under the EN10149: Part 2 specification. It is structural hot-rolled steel material with high yield strength and excellent cold-forming characteristics.

600MC can be used in numerous applications including steel framed structures, structural pipes, and cold-rolled sections. As the material is designed to be used in load-bearing applications, care should be taken when ordering to ensure that the steel has the qualities required for the job at hand.

Heat treatment of S600MC is not advisable as this will reduce the yield strength of the material.
