SSAB BHN PLATES is VINAY METALS designation for armor steel plates suitable for high protection against the pressures caused by blasts and explosions.

The material benefits from a combination of improved hardness and strength resulting in excellent ballistic properties and is developed exclusively for resistance to high explosives and ordnance.

The steel goes through a direct quenching process which not only makes the steel very hard and very strong but also promotes excellent dimensional accuracy and good flatness.
