SA537 STEEL PLATES, A537 CLASS 1 STEEL PLATE, ASME SA537 CL.1 PRESSURE VESSEL PLATES, SA537 CLASS 1 STEEL PLATES
- The best plate for constructing a pressure vessel then consider A537 Class 1 Plate. These plates are ideal for constructing pressure vessels and the fabrication of tanks. These are the most popular plate amongst engineers.
- These plates are best known for their ultimate strength, which makes them excellent for industrial purposes. These are best for your industrial and engineering purposes.
- These plates are used in the construction of boilers and pressurized tanks. A537 Class 1 Plates are completely designed for working in extreme environments.
Well, these are best used in chemical applications where any other plates fail. These plates offer exceptional performances in corrosive environments. It has the feature to bear high pressure and temperatures without deforming. These plates offer great resistivity to corrosion
» Any chance of leakages is negligible
» Tendency to bear maximum pressure with minimum elongation
» Increase the service of pressure vessels
» Improves the surface finish of vessels
» There is no chance of reaction inside the container
» Provides the maximum strength to pressure vessels
» Made to work at Low-Temperature Services Up to Minus 46 Degrees
This grade is commonly used in pressure vessel applications where low-temperature resistance to notch sensitivity is needed and added strength levels are needed. Class 1 is normalized and the tensile is in the 70,000 – 90,000 level. Class 2 is quenched and tempered with a tensile range of 80,000 – 100,000. The minimum yield strength for class 1 is 50,000 and for class 2 is 60,000.
