SS 308 ~ 253 MA

AL-6XN is widely used because it is a 6% moly super austenitic alloy providing strong resistance to chlorides found in ketchup, barbecue sauce, sports drinks, buffer solutions, and active pharmaceutical ingredients that commonly cause localized cStainless 253 MA is a lean austenitic heat resistant alloy with high strength and outstanding oxidation resistance. 253 MA maintains its heat resistant properties by advanced control of micro alloy additions. The use of rare earth metals in combination with silicon gives superior oxidation resistance up to 2000°F.orrosion.

AL-6XN is an upgrade to 300 series alloys such as 316L/1.4435 and 304 when a high concentrations of chlorides, high temperature, acidic pH levels, and time of contact are introduced to the process.
